New Construction - The Chicago Spire

November 30th, 2007 · No Comments

The Chicago Spire is sure to put Chicago on the world stage as the building, designed by Santiago Calatrava S.A. will be the tallest one in the United States and the Western Hemisphere. What is real exciting about the building is that there will be 1,200 residential units in the building with the most spectacular views in the city.

Even more interesting is the gossip amongst realtors who indicate the price for units will average about $1,500 per square foot and possibly as high as $2,000 a square, making the Spire the highest priced new construction building in the city.

Advertising for the property has already begun in the Wall Street Journal and although exact pricing information is currently not available, the ad in the Journal indicates the price range will be $750,000 for a studio to $40,000,000 for the penthouse unit.

It is my understanding that on January 2008 this new exciting project will begin taking reservations/contracts. As soon as floorplans are available for the Chicago Spire, I will let you know.
