He also recommends viewing the minutes of the building for 6 months to a year prior to making an offer, so clients can consider what is happening on the business side of a building. When negotiating a sale price, Sheldon puts an emphasis on price per square foot, quality of the appliances and finishes, plus how long the property has been on the market. He constantly communicates with the client and keeps them involved in the process, as the smallest detail can make a difference in negotiating the sale price of a Chicago home.
